2. Flight Damage
Was your luggage damaged during a flight? The things you must do:
- You can report the damage directly at the airport, or within the time limit (about 7 days) with the airline. You will receive a "damage report" at the lost property counter. In the case of a subsequent notification of claim, you will be issued an order number.
- You are invited to come by in person with to drop the damaged bag together with the damage-report or you can send both in a parcel. Note: in some airlines (such as Iberia) you may be asked to provide additional information or documentations.
- We create an expert opinion and will offer a repair on the bag or a new replacement immediately.
3. Repairs within warranty period
During warranty period, the manufacturer assumes the repair costs for damage that is covered under the terms of warranty. Concerning liability for defects for products you purchased with Dakine Shop, please have a look atour terms & conditions.
